The Security Bolt Lock is a practical and positive method of locking screws, bolts, and studs securely into tapped holes in plates, bosses, flanges, and similar applications. It is the most economic and practical answer for securely locking tapped adjusting screws (set screws), cylinder head studs, housing covers, flange studs, or any other tapped hole (blind, captive, or other) application where a separate nut assembly is not possible or practical.

The spring steel insert locking mechanism of the Bolt Lock comes factory installed on any type of mating bolt, stud, or screw thread you require. Matched with your properly prepared receiver, the Bolt Lock is ready to securely fasten your components in place. When installed, the load is borne by the threads of the tapped hole; while the insert acts as a lock on the mating part and does NOT bear any of the load.

Bolt Locks can be used with any class 2A or 3A stud or bolt and are self-locking in any position. The locking bolt can be removed or replaced or adjusted as often as necessary with no loss of locking effect or damage to the stud.

Where severe vibration, high temperature, heavy loading, or maintenance is a problem, the Security Bolt Lock is the BEST solution.
